Bachelor-/ Master Thesis: »Management Systems for AI in Production«
At the Fraunhofer IPT in Aachen, we work with more than 530 employees every day to make the production of the future more digital, more flexible and more sustainable. In the department »production quality«, we deal with the optimization of quality in production by applying methods from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to predict the product quality, optimize process parameters or enable predictive maintenance.
Within the scope of your thesis, you will investigate the design of management systems for AI in production. Due to emerging standards and regulation – mainly the ISO/ IEC 42001 and the European Union’s AI Act – setting up management systems to holistically manage AI applications in production becomes a crucial task to fully exploit AI’s potential.
