MA Production of microfluidic systems
In cooperation with the Chair of Laser Technology LLT at RWTH Aachen University, the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, Europe's leading centre for basic and contract research in the field of laser technology, is offering the opportunity to write a thesis in the field of "Biofabrication" on the topic of "Production of microfluidics." Point-of-care diagnostics offers significant advantages in medical care and enables the rapid and precise detection of pathogens. By using microfluidic systems, tests can be analyzed on site without having to send samples to an external laboratory. For the development and production of small series of such microfluidics, μDLP processes offer a cost-effective alternative to conservative injection moulding processes.
