Student Assistant (m/f/d) in Laser Functionalization of Thin Films and Sensor Technology
At the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, we may not be developing swords against the dark side of the Force, but often our developments sound like science fiction. We shape the technologies and processes for the future of digital production, packaging and scanning technology, and many other laser-based applications, such as 3D printing and laser fusion. Are you looking for an exciting position as a student assistant (m/f/d) that changes the future? Then become part of our #OneTeam. In the Thin Film Processing group, we develop processes for laser functionalization of thin films. We optimize material properties such as conductivity, adhesion, and impermeability through methods like sintering, crystallization, and melting. One focus of our research is printed electronics, where we produce the layers themselves using digital printing processes. Currently, we are working on the additive manufacturing of printed sensors (contactless, digital, and targeted application of thin films on substrates). If you want to be part of an innovative team and are interested in helping shape the technologies of tomorrow, you are in the right place! The position takes place on-site in Aachen – seize the opportunity to contribute your ideas and work with us on groundbreaking solutions.
