We are looking for an RF PCB Designer for our project with the startup QuSine
QuSine develops high-precision communication devices based on groundbreaking technological innovations that offer orders of magnitude higher accuracy than conventional devices.
What you will do
Hardware design: Create schematics, layout design and routing of PCBs with a focus on RF performance Collaborate with RF designers to optimize PCB layouts for performance and manufacturability Testing and troubleshooting: Actively participate in testing and troubleshooting hardware issues Perform design validation and troubleshooting during prototype and production phases Data reporting and troubleshooting: Reporting on measurement data to identify performance bottlenecks and troubleshooting Support in the creation of bill of materials (BOM) SMD and THT soldering for prototyping and troubleshooting Carrying out mechanical assembly and cable assembly Collaboration and environment Working in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment
What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering with a focus on RF/microwave Understanding of the operating principles of mixers, switches, RF amplifiers, RF oscillators, phase detectors, filters and other RF devices Strong understanding of RF fundamentals: impedance matching, S-parameters, gain, noise figure, etc. Extensive experience with PCB layout software, especially Altium Good to have: In-depth knowledge of frequency synthesis, phase locked loops (PLL) or transceiver architecture and signal generators Strong understanding of impedance control and RF matching Good to know: Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g. HFSS or CST) Ability to work in a team and accept constructive feedback Good knowledge of the German or English language

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
