Scientist metalorganic gas phase epitaxy
Future. Discover. Together. Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz-Institute gained world leadership in photonic integrated circuits (PICs). Every second in internet transmitted bit comes in tough with a PIC from HHI. Our research is focused on Lasers, Detectors, Modulators and PICs used in fiber-optic networks, supercomputers, satellites, environmental sensors and for quantum cryptography. Fundamental for this PICs are semiconductor heterostructures, generated by epitaxial growth. Be a part of our team and come on a journey of research and innovation!
