What you will do
Leading and developing the laboratory for molecular beam epitaxy at the Heinrich Hertz Institute Operation of a gas-source MBE, model 412 Implementation and development of epitaxy processes using MBE Management of research projects and direct development contracts Cooperation with national and international partners
What you bring to the table
Completed scientific university degree and PhD in physics, electrical engineering or a related field Excellent knowledge and several years of proven experience in the epitaxy of III-V semiconductors using MBE Excellent knowledge of epitaxy analytics Proven experience in operating an MBE Sound knowledge and experience in the implementation of research projects Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners and customers Very good written and spoken German and English Independent work, strategic thinking, organization and coordination

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
