The Vision & Imaging Technologies (VIT) department develops innovative deep learning technologies in the area of ​​image and video analysis. The department's competencies cover the entire processing chain, from the collection and analysis of visual data to modeling in digital representations to the final visualization and human-machine interaction. We develop modern AI solutions in the areas of 2D/3D image and video understanding, computer vision, computer graphics, 3D modeling, simulation and cognitive systems. What you bring to the table

  • You are studying a master's degree in computer science, mathematics or an equivalent with above-average performance

  • You have very good knowledge in one of the following areas:

    • Programming skills in Python, C++ or CUDA

    • Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch

  • You enjoy analytical thinking

  • You can work independently as well as within a team in a structured manner

 

The position requires physical presence in Berlin.

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

 

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
