Be part of change

  • Software development of the DSP toolbox for LiFi system
  • Implementation of algorithms and software development using C++, Python or MATLAB
  • Technical documentation and maintenance of the software
  • Working with a team to integrate algorithms into LiFi software.
  • Developing API for the LiFi software
  • Conducting simulations to evaluate LiFi systems under various conditions
  • Experimental verification of the simulation results

 

What you contribute

  • Full-time student at a German university preferably in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or physics with good to very good grades
  • First experiences with algorithm development preferably using C++, Python or MATLAB
  • Basic understanding of optical communication systems
  • Basic knowledge of MATLAB and Python for wireless communication and signal processing
  • Proactivity and interest in scientific work
  • Good communication skills (German/English) and team spirit
  • Hands-on laboratory experience is desirable
  • Some one already in berlin or ready to move to berlin

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

 

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
