Student Assistent Full Stack Engineer

As part of our project with the start-up Kukan, we are looking for a Working Student in Fullstack Engineering. In cooperation with the start-up Kukan, we are developing innovative applications that combine 3D Gaussian Splatting, 3D reconstruction, and conversational AI to create photorealistic digital twins. Be part of change

  • Code, code, code: Implementation of complex features, Optimization of existing systems - you ensure that our code quality remains top-notch – whether in the backend, the frontend, or both
  • AI & Tech Scouting: Try out brand-new tools and frameworks
  • Cloud Native & Scaling: Work with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - you are familiar with containerization and microservices, or are interested in learning more
  • Mobile Apps & Prototyping: Development of prototypes in rapid cycles and iterate based on user feedback

 

What you contribute

  • Front-end: Proficiency in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, Swift & React Native (nice to have)
  • Back-end: Python or other object-oriented framework
  • Infra: You are familiar with firebase, cloud services (GCP), Postgres
  • AI: You’ve played with Copilot, Claude Code or AI code tool
  • Experience shipping production web applications
  • Strong product sense and ability to make thoughtful UX/technical tradeoffs
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to translate technical features into customer benefits
  • You have 1-2 years of work experience (nice to have)

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

 

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
