Student assistant (m/f/d) for UX design in science marketing

For over 35 years, the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology in Berlin has stood for excellence in production science. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between science and practice in the field of industrial production and offer application-oriented system solutions for the entire spectrum of industrial tasks – from product development to the production process, maintenance of capital goods, and recycling of products to the design and management of factory operations.

 

The Production Systems business unit at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK works on the development, provision, and adaptation of production and manufacturing technologies, as well as the necessary machine and control technology for the manufacture of innovative products.

 

What you will do

 

  • Support in the creation, conception, coordination, and coordination of content for web and app applications with a focus on UX/UI
  • Creation of mockups, prototypes, and the final user interface
  • Creation of individual elements of the design system
  • Support in testing web and app applications
  • Design and implementation of information materials and presentations

 

What you bring to the table

 

  • Studies in media design, communication design, computer science, or related fields
  • Initial experience in designing web and mobile apps, as well as with design/prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe XD)
  • Interest in interdisciplinary tasks and learning new areas of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently with a strong team spirit
  • Commitment, creativity, and flexibility

The remuneration is based on the overall company agreement for the employment of auxiliary staff.

The position is initially limited to one year.

The monthly working hours are negotiable between 40 or 80 hours.
