What you will do

  • Technical participation in the backend lab of our Photonic Components department. In that lab the wafers that are developed at HHI are being singulated to bars and chips. Via sputtering a optical coating is applied to prepare these devices for their use in optical transmission systems.

  • Working on the singulation of wafers into bars and chips

  • Development of new ideas, concepts and process improvements

 

What you bring to the table

  • A finished vocational training in the are of microtechnology or similar fields

  • Motivation to work on and with highly complex modern machinery

  • Fine motor skills to work on very small devices

  • Self-sufficient and structured way of working

  • Highly developed error awareness

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

The position is initially limited to 2 years. An extension is explicitly desired.

 

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
