What you will do
Technical participation in the backend lab of our Photonic Components department. In that lab the wafers that are developed at HHI are being singulated to bars and chips. Via sputtering a optical coating is applied to prepare these devices for their use in optical transmission systems. Working on the singulation of wafers into bars and chips Development of new ideas, concepts and process improvements
What you bring to the table
A finished vocational training in the are of microtechnology or similar fields Motivation to work on and with highly complex modern machinery Fine motor skills to work on very small devices Self-sufficient and structured way of working Highly developed error awareness Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

The position is initially limited to 2 years. An extension is explicitly desired.
The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
