Working Student AI / Machine Learning

To strengthen our business unit “Software-based Networks“ (NGNI), we are seeking motivated working students to support our team in the field of next-generation network systems, starting as soon as possible.

 

What you will do

  • Selection and application of suitable AI/ML techniques for monitoring and optimizing next-generation network systems
  • Collection, visualization and analysis of data
  • Collaboration in the identification of classification, regression, reinforcement learning and optimal decision sub-problems and development of models to solve them
  • Support in the development of prototypes accelerated by FPGAs and GPUs
  • Analysis of large language models (LLMs)

 

What you bring to the table

  • Ongoing Master’s degree in a Computer science or related discipline
  • You are interested in writing your thesis in this subject area
  • You have already acquired knowledge of AI / ML principles
  • You have experience with the most important ML frameworks for Python and in using tools such as JupyterLab
  • Excellent proficiency in English and basic knowledge of German

The wage depends on the progress of your studies and is between 15.74 € and 17.27 € per hour.

The monthly working time is 60 - 80 hours. The contract is limited to one year. In general, we are interested in a longer-term collaboration.
