Working student Java Backend Development

We are looking for a working student to join our 30-strong Open Service Engineering (OSE) team as soon as possible to support the development of innovative Java applications.

What you will do

You are involved in
- Implementation work on Java (vert.x) components
- The development of MicroServices
You process technical tickets via our GitLab system
Together with your team you discuss architectural and technical issues
You work closely with your colleagues and support each other with implementation work
You write tests for your own code

What you bring to the table

You are currently enrolled in a degree program with a focus on computer science for at least three semesters
You have advanced knowledge of Java and basic knowledge of Kotlin
You have in-depth knowledge of containerization with Docker
Basic knowledge of Linked Date, RDF and Semantic Web is an advantage
You are business fluent in German and have an advanced knowledge of English

The wage depends on the progress of your studies and is between 15.74 € and 17.27 € per hour.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. The contract is limited to one year. In general, we are interested in a longer-term collaboration.
