Be part of change

As a systems technician for cybersecurity, you will play a central role in the technical implementation of our ATHENE research projects:

Installation, configuration, operation, and recovery of AI clusters
Setup, installation, configuration, and operation of systems with very high and highest confidentiality requirements, including structural measures
Implementation of multi-tenancy in complex system environments
Implementation of system hardening measures according to current security standards
Independent collaboration with researchers on technical issues

What you contribute

Completed studies (either a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience or a Diploma/Master's degree) in the field of IT, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
Proven experience in handling complex IT infrastructures
In-depth knowledge of system administration and network technology
Experience with virtualisation technologies and container solutions
Knowledge in the area of system hardening and IT security
Familiarity with common AI platforms and their requirements desirable
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Good knowledge of German and English

The position is initially limited to 2 years. A long-term collaboration is being sought.

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
