DevOps Engineer - Audio and Media Technologies

We are the world’s leading institute for audio coding and signal processing, with a long history of success starting with the development of mp3 right through to 3D sound for VR headsets. Today, our technologies can be found in almost every computer, television set and cell phone, and are used by businesses like Google, Apple, and Samsung. So that we can meet the high-quality standards set by our customers, we need your help to develop our CI infrastructure for software development and testing. As an integral part of the developer teams, you will enable us to deliver our software on time for the latest products in the entertainment industry. 


What you bring to the table

  • A scientific university degree in a technical field
  • Very good knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PERL, Python) and C
  • Very good understanding of administration of Linux-, Windows- and Mac-based computers
  • Very good knowledge of CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CMake, SVN, etc.)
  • Last but not least, you will have the ability to work in a structured and target-oriented manner as part of a team and the ambition to deliver flawless software every day.

We work in small teams with agile development methods, and we maintain close contact with our major customers in Silicon Valley and the German automotive industry. Our dedicated employees have a common goal: they want to experience their technology in the latest TVs, phones, and cars. The position is initially limited to 2 years with the aim to extend it subsequently. The weekly working time is 39 hours. This vacancy is also available on a part-time basis.
