About us
The department for Media Systems and Applications is part of the Audio and Media Technologies division, best known for its work on MP3 and AAC. We develop software for and together with global leaders in the broadcasting and streaming industry.
Our products include streaming servers and packagers, media players for various platforms, and many more, across the whole chain from media production to playout devices.

 

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain projects in C/C++
  • Maintain close and successful relationships with our partners
  • Contribute to the development of new streaming technologies

 

What you bring to the table

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Solid programming skills with a focus on C/C++
  • A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to your work
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Experience in the following areas is desirable:
    • Network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP)
    • Streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTP)
    • Multi-platform development (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android)
    • Modern programming and scripting languages

The weekly working time is 39 hours. The position is initially limited to 2 years with the aim to extend it subsequently.
