Software Developer - Development of multimodal Reconstruction Methods
The group »Operator based learning« in Fürth deals with incorporating knowledge from physics, signal processing and mathematics into Deep Learning models and increasing the generalizability of the generated solution and reducing the dependency on training data. What you will do
We are looking for a software developer to develop multimodal reconstruction methods based on analytical as well as novel machine learning methods in the context of industrial metrology and non-destructive material testing. Your tasks will include the algorithmic implementation of existing reconstruction methods and their methodological development and combination into novel multimodal methods. Parts of the developed procedures should be implemented by data-driven methods.

The position is also suitable for career starters with corresponding prior knowledge and experience from internships, student research projects or final theses.
What you can expect
The weekly working time is 39 hours. It is also possible to work part-time. The position is initially limited to 2 years with the aim to extend it subsequently
