Student assistant in the field of digital communication - focus on social media

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (www.fraunhofer.com) currently operates 76 institutes and research institutions throughout Germany and is the world’s leading applied research organization. Around 30 800 employees work with an annual research budget of 3.0 billion euros. 

The Materials Characterisation and Testing department develops measurement systems for the characterisation and testing of materials that are suitable for application. Our scientists draw on expertise in optical system and measurement technology, spectroscopy and the development of innovative data processing techniques. For this department, we are looking for a student assistant as soon as possible to further expand our presence in social media and to support our team in a variety of public relations tasks. 

 

 

What you will do

  • Content creation for various social media channels (especially LinkedIn) in text, image & video
  • Support with the department's own public relations work
  • Active contribution of topic suggestions for the social media presence
  • Social media monitoring: analysing posts and creating reports

 

 

What you bring to the table

  • Ongoing studies in the fields of journalism, communication, media studies or similar
  • Experience and pleasure in dealing with all major social networks
  • Affinity for writing, eloquence and very good German language skills
  • Commitment, creativity, reliability and communication skills
