Thesis or internship »Efficient Coupling Strategies for Multi-Physics Problems using MESFREE«
The »Grid-free Methods« department at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM focuses on the modeling and efficient simulation of complex industrial problems for the design and optimization of technical processes and products. We present the exciting range of applications of our collaborative software development MESHFREE: https://www.meshfree.eu/
Currently, our team is working on further developing the MESHFREE software for volume-volume or surface-volume coupling, in order to enable heterogeneous allocation of MPI resources between different model hierarchies. We are looking for motivated students in the field of numerical fluid mechanics and multi-physics simulation methods.
