Working student for Python prototyping in Munich

What you will do

In the field of smart manufacturing, you will play a key role in supporting your colleagues in the development of a Python-based proof-of-concept tool. Your work will involve independently structuring the code according to specified requirements, which will advance the project to the next stage. You will create a basic model for a production line, facilitating a clearer understanding of the system dynamics. Additionally, you will implement initial scheduling algorithms to optimize production efficiency. A 2D simulation based on an existing use case will also be part of your responsibilities, helping to visualize the manufacturing process. Throughout this project, clear communication with the team will be vital to ensure a shared understanding of objectives and progress.

What you bring to the table

Student in computer science or equivalent degree
Solid Python programming experience
An interest in automation and smart manufacturing
Proactive about asking questions/seeking clarification
Able to work independently, incorporating feedback from the team
Able to work in person at the office in Munich.
