Student assistant for the operation of laboratory plants for resource recovery from wastewater

We are developing processes for a more sustainable world and rethinking wastewater treatment. In the DARE2CYCLE project, residues from biogas plants are used as a resource for growing vegetables or producing microbial proteins. To this end, membrane-based technologies are operated and investigated on a laboratory and pilot scale. With your work, together with other researchers, you can contribute to the gradual optimization of the plants in the future.
What you will do
Maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment are part of your everyday work Assisting with and carrying out experiments and sample analyses (e.g. using cuvette tests, titration or UV-Vis) for process characterization Researching and evaluating literature data You will specialize in the operation of bioreactors on a laboratory scale
What you bring to the table
Studies in the field of process engineering, environmental engineering, biology or similar Interest in the field of water and/or wastewater treatment Ideally initial laboratory experience Good knowledge of German or English and a class B driver's license Interest in long-term employment
What you can expect
This position is limited to 6 months. The weekly working time is 8 hours.
