One focus of applied research in the "Electrochemical Energy Storage" department is therefore on the new and further development of flow and non-flow battery systems.   • Investigation of their performance and cycle stability in half cells

 

Final thesis »Investigation of Ni-Co-Fe layered double hydroxide for zinc intercalation batteries«

  • Electrochemical investigation of cathode materials for zinc intercalation batteries
  • Investigation of electrodes using different material analysis methods
  • Production of Ni-Co-Fe layered double hydroxide (LDHS) cathodes
  • Characterization of cathodes for zinc intercalation batteries  
  • Investigation of their performance and cycle stability in half cells

 

What you bring to the table

  • Ongoing studies in chemistry, materials science, process engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Basic understanding of electrochemistry

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is limited to 6 months.
