This research seeks to investigate how companies at different stages of digital maturity are leveraging digital tools and strategies to enhance their sustainability performance. What you will do

  • Structured research and analysis of scientific literature on relevant topics
  • Preparation of your own research hypothesis, objectives and structure of the thesis with support and guidance from your supervisor at Fraunhofer IPA
  • Scientific elaboration, analysis and presentation of research results in a final thesis
  • Possibility to publish the results in form of a study, a white paper or as peer-reviewed

 

What you bring to the table

  • Student (m/f/d) of computer sciences; environmental sciences; engineering, or related field
  • Interest in the areas of digitalization and sustainable production
  • High motivation, commitment, and willingness to learn new topics
  • Analytical, independent and structured way of working
  • Good MS Office skills. Optional: previous EndNote/Citavi knowledge
  • No programming skills are required
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Thesis language: English
