Thesis (B/M): Site analyses for oxyfuel plants for CO2 capture

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (www.fraunhofer.com) is one of the world's leading organizations for application-oriented research. 75 institutes develop pioneering technologies for our economy and society – more precisely: 32 000 people from technology, science, administration and IT. They know: Anyone who comes to Fraunhofer wants to and can make a difference. For themselves, for us and for the markets of today and tomorrow.

In our Clean Combustion and Process Heat department, we deal with low-emission combustion processes and process heat. One of our topics is oxyfuel combustion, in which pure oxygen is used as the O2 source instead of normal ambient air. Oxyfuel combustion of biogenic gases enables efficient CO2 capture from flue gases, thereby providing potential CO2-negative process heat.
