Thesis (B./M.): Statistical evaluation of pyrolysis materials and gases

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (www.fraunhofer.com) currently operates 76 institutes and research institutions throughout Germany and is the world’s leading applied research organization. Around 30 800 employees work with an annual research budget of 3.0 billion euros.

Bioenergy in combination with CO2 capture (BECCS or BECCU) is seen by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as a key technology to prevent a climate catastrophe. We are working on efficient and economical processes for combining pyrolysis and oxyfuel. To do this, we need a statistical evaluation of numerous pyrolysis processes and gases in order to reveal previously hidden correlations.
