Working student: Needs analysis for technical purchasing in the field of pyrolysis plants
The Advanced Carbon Conversion Technologies department conducts research into conversion technologies for residual and waste materials. The aim is to provide carbon for industrial processes and products from sustainable sources and within the framework of recycling. The focus is on the development and construction of thermochemical plants and processes for the production of energy sources such as synthesis gas and fuels from biogenic residual and waste materials, as well as the (chemical) recycling of plastic-containing feedstocks, composite materials, and minerals.
What you will do
Support for technical purchasing in the field of pyrolysis plants Clarification of specifications for plant components in cooperation with those responsible Assistance with the analysis and evaluation of technical components Maintenance and updating of test databases within the scope of experimental trials
What you bring to the table
must have: You are currently studying mechanical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, materials science, or a comparable field High degree of reliability, ability to work independently and organizational skills, very good German (C1) and English (B2) skills Technical knowledge of systems and various components nice to have: Education and professional experience in mechanical engineering

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
